Milan Fashion Week Is Here! But What Can We Expect From The Shows This Year?

Who’s ready for Milan Fashion Week?! MFW Spring 2024 begins on the 19th of September and continues until the 25th of September when they hand the baton over to Paris. We’re excited to see what Milan has in store for us, with some of the biggest names in fashion set to take to the runways as well as some exhibitions you need to visit!

Scroll down for our round up of what to expect…

Location

Catwalk shows will be held at various independent locations across Milan, check out the full online schedule as some shows are available to book tickets for!

Live Streaming

For the past few years, some designers have provided us with the opportunity to watch their shows from the comfort of our own homes! Many of the shows will be live- streamed on multiple channels. Check out Camera Moda for live streaming and reports. Also check out Vogue.com and the social media pages of your favorite designers.

Designer Debuts

This year is HUGE for designer debuts. Some of the biggest fashion houses have new creative directors, including Sabato De Sarno for Gucci, Simone Bellotti for Bally and Peter Hawkings for Tom Ford. Click the links to see the new collections on Vogue Runway.

Fashion Faves

It may come as no surprise that Gucci is always the hot ticket in town and this year is no exception with it’s new creative director taking the helm- everyone will want to see his take on the infamous fashion label. Fendi and Prada are also among the most highly anticipated shows, and they typically do not disappoint.

Exhibition Alert

If you happen to be in Milan there are two must see exhibitions right now- ’Kelly Morphose, an Hermès retrospective exhibition’ and ‘Art in denim: the value of craft between design and sustainability’. But be quick, they end soon!
