Welcome to The Trend Edit: Providing you with exclusive info on the latest trends from the runway, street style, and brands.

Runway shows provide us with ample inspiration and excitement every season. But what’s happening on the streets is often where trends really first begin…

For the Spring 24 shows in Copenhagen, fashionistas brought their A-game to the streets, despite the unpredictable weather. From metallics to brown leather, there were plenty of trends we think are going to be all the rage next year.

Scroll down for our round up of the trends to watch…

Shearling Accents

From patchwork shearling to shearling bags, this soft and fuzzy texture brings the cozy factor to every look. Our favorite- the shearling shorts (pictured) giving us all the Fall feels.

Tan Plaids and Checks

We’re loving the ensembles seen in this imaged (pictured). The navy and tan combined screams countryside chic. Not to mention the shades of tan layering combined with the plaid- swoon! All we need is a countryside manor to complete the look!

Supersize Blazer and Jackets

There seemed to be a common thread with the styling of the supersize blazer and jacket which was seen paired with a strappy colorful heel. Each look however, showed us several different ways to wear, from barely there layering to relaxed boyish dressing.

New Blazer Details

As you may have gathered, blazers are here to stay. So what’s new? From the streets we were seeing moved on detailing such as new collars, pockets and fabrications to update this fashion staple.

Bold and Bright Head to Toe

Dopamine dressing continues with the bold and bright head to toe looks. The colors seen from Copenhagen were stand-out. We particularly love the pink and citrus combo.

Brown Leather Jackets

If there is one item we know everyone will have in their wardrobes next year, its the brown leather jacket- or brown anything tbh! Shades of brown leather jackets and layering pieces dominated the Copenhagen streets. We’re loving the distressed vintage style leather.

True Romantics

This trend encompasses several elements- the corsets, the lace, the ruffles and the sheering, all combined with soft knits and oversized jackets to grunge up this look. Love love love!

Metallic Always

Where would we be without metallics?! So many fashionista’s took to the streets in their metallic outfits- particularly skirts, with the silver sequin mini also having a moment. This has firmly become a wardrobe staple all year round.

Crisp and Clean Quiet Luxury

This years buzzwords- quiet luxury, is still on everyones lips and on the streets. This crisp & clean look speaks sophistication, elegance and power- and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere just yet.
